Our client is the world's leading manufacturer of self cleaning water filters A problem was repeatedly reported to them with a series of filters in a water treatment plant in Asia The calculations indicated a possible vortex effect as the cause of filter damage The derived costs were in the range of thousands of euros and in the breakdown of the water supply We proposed a quick and cost effective solution to the problem, with the immediate cessation of failures and the elimination of related repair costs Now, drinking water is not a privilege of only a few in this place.
CONCEPT OF SELF CLEANING:
Our client wanted a completely new filter design, maintenance free and, of course, self cleaning The problem to be addressed included pressure drop, water consumption in self cleaning, avoidance of vibrations and transportation of solids This was the birth of a new filter concept Our design advanced to a non monitored filter, the first of its kind in the world The product is today on the market without any competition in the world.
